Stackla ReactJs WordPress Plugin
Stackla - ReactJs based WordPress Plugin

The Brief

With offices in Sydney, San Francisco and London and an official Twitter partnership under their belt, social media aggregator Stackla are one of Australia's fastest growing start ups.

As part of their platform expansion goals, they required the development of a custom WordPress plugin with a fairly complex user interface in order to integrate the key features of their product offering for a broader audience.

Solution

I chose Facebook's ReactJs to deliver the interface for the plugin as it needed to be extremely modular, reacting to different user inputs at almost every stage. The result is an extremely fast, responsive UI that seamlessly communicates with custom classes and the Stackla PHP SDK to establish a direct connection between the plugin instance and Stackla itself.

The technologies I used to create this solution are

  • ReactJs
  • WordPress
  • PHP
  • MySQL
  • SASS
  • Gulp
